Set up the integration

1. First of all, the Adform user account should have sufficient Client and Module (Additional services -> External API, Banners -> Overview and Base Data -> Clients) access. You can either extend the user rights (if they are insufficient) of a current account or create a new one. (Find Adforms documentation on User Management πŸ”—here.)

Also, please note that to use the API, the user's Adform password has to match API security requirements:

  • At least 6 symbols
  • Both uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Both letters and numbers
  • At least one special character (β€œ&”, β€œ?”, β€œ!”, β€œ/”, β€œ*”, β€œ$”, β€œ#”, β€œ+”, β€œ-”, β€œ@”, β€œ:”, β€œ.”, β€œ,”, β€œ_”)
  • No repeating symbols

2. Log in to your Bannerflow account and go to Manage brands -> Brand settings -> Publish -> Click New integration.

3. Select Adform in the Network dropdown and click Login to Adform.Β

4. Sign in to your Adform account and then Save the integration. The integration should now be ready to use! πŸŽ‰

Banner Tags

In Bannerflow

1. In BannerFlow, go into the campaign where your banners are located.

2. Click on Publish or on Publish for a specific banner.

3. Click on the Get Banner Tags unless you get to select banners right away.

4. Select the Banners you would like to get the Banner Tags for and then proceed by clicking Select x banners.

6. Copy the Banner tags and/or save them to a text file if preferred.

πŸ‘‰ Β Please note: There are two Adform options. The one ending with BF (Adform - BF) allow you to decide the final landing page from BannerFlow whereas the other one let you specify the final landing page in Adform instead.

In Adform

1. Go to your Adform account and click on Create -> Third Party Ad

2. Enter a name for the banner, paste the banner code in the β€œThird Party Tag” field and set the banner’s size.

3. When you are satisfied with the data you have entered, click publish.

πŸ‘‰ Β Please note: If you run the tag which allows for Adform's Landing page URL to work, their internal preview page does not include the specified URL and will therefore click to the URL that set in BannerFlow instead. Also note that this is not the case when the banner is live
