How Do Bannerflow Banners Work?

Bannerflow banners are made in HTML5. An HTML5 banner is an ad that uses the same coding language used to design and control webpages. HTML5 banners are therefore coded and updatable – and interactive – unlike static banners.

Banners can then be published using 3rd party ad tags (3PAS) that can be exported from the Bannerflow platform. The 3PAS tag can be copied into around 150 different networks or be automatically pushed to your DSP/Affiliate platform through our API enabled direct integrations

Bannerflow also automatically generates fallback images that are shown if the user's browser doesn't support HTML5 or the user loses their connection. In this instance, a simplified image version of the banner will be displayed instead – known as a fallback image.
